Fairs and Markets
SANT ERMENGOL FAIR
La Seu’s most outstanding fairs include the Sant Ermengol Fair, which is held on the third weekend in October and encompasses the Pyrenees Artisanal Cheese Fair.

ELS CANONGES MEDIEVAL MARKET
On the first weekend in June, La Seu d’Urgell is home to the Els Canonges Medieval Market. Over these few days, the city’s historic centre is transformed into a stage where the clocks turn back and visitors experience all the magic and cheer of traditional music and shows, the colours of the outfits and fabrics, and all the sights and smells of the stalls.
Throughout the weekend, all over the Els Canonges Medieval Market, you will find medieval characters putting on street entertainment, children’s workshops and games, music, dance, falconry, medieval camps and battles, tours of the city’s historic centre, belly dancing, parades, storytelling…

WEEKLY MARKET
The historic centre still holds its traditional weekly market every Tuesday and Saturday.
DYNAMIC LOCAL BUSINESSES
Small local businesses, especially shops that specialise in artisanal and local food products, make this city a real commercial and service hub.
FAIRS AND MARKETS
Every year, the city hosts the biggest traditional fairs and markets in the Pyrenees.
